With over two decades of experience in the optical communications industry, Mr. Kazuyuki Sohma is a seasoned expert in process development and technology management. Beginning their career in 2001 as a Process Development Engineer at the Optical Communications Laboratory, Kazuyuki advanced to the role of Process Development Manager in 2020, where he currently leads innovation and operational strategy within the lab.
Kazuyuki holds a Master of Science in Chemistry and a Master of Business Administration, reflecting a strong foundation in both technical expertise and strategic business management. Additionally, Kazuyuki served as Secretary of the Optical Fiber Technology Committee of IEICE from 2019 to 2021, and currently serves as a Technical Symposium Committee Member for IWCS since January 2024.
