Enrique is responsible for the telecom business within Teijin Aramid. He has over 20 years of experience in strategic marketing, specializing in the intersection of business and technology. He holds a PhD in Physics and an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management. Throughout his career, Enrique has worked in the UK, Spain, and the Netherlands, where he is currently based.
Kevin Buchanan is the founder and President of Fluoropolymer Resources LLC. After working 15 years in manufacturing engineering and engineering management in the Wire & Cable industry, he left in 1990 to pursue his vision in for developing technologies to convert FEP, PFA, ETFE and PVDF scrap from W&C manufacturers waste stream into clean, highly stable polymer for reuse in cable. After 34 years fluoropolymers reclaimed by FRL have become a significant and, measurable component of the global fluoropolymer supply for industries including but not limited to W&C. Buchanan holds a US Patent for Fiber Optic Cable Design a recipient of the Charles D. Scott Distinguished Career Award, a past president of the New England Chapter of the Wire Association International, serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Eastern Connecticut Ballet. Due to new and proposed regulations, Wire and Cable manufacturers have seen mounting pressure to better understand and reduce the environmental impact of the emissions from their operations and products.
Marie-Ange Vatin was born in Versailles, France, in 1971, graduated from Valenciennes University with a Master II degree in European and International Business Law, she began her career in 2000 in the telecom cable industry specializing in fiber optic cables. With a strong technical and strategic background, she initially held position in procurement, within SAGEMCOM, where she played key role in sourcing critical materials for the industry. Subsequently she transitioned into market development, where she contributed to the expansion of fiber cable product portfolio within GENERAL CABLE. Thanks to her management skills and strategic vision, she later took on responsibility of managing the Business Unit Telecom, successfully leading teams to achieve commercial objectives and strengthen the company’s market position. In 2019 she joined DSM as Global head of fiber optic material business, taken over by COVESTRO in 2021, she has over 20 years experienced in the value chain of the Telecom cable Industry.
