Chris Bondurant has been leading SAC Wireless as Chief Executive Officer since May 2021, appointed by the parent company and global telecom leader, Nokia. His mission has been to restructure the fast-growing North American telecom infrastructure construction and professional service provider. Under his leadership, SAC Wireless and Nokia have aligned as a “one-stop shop” to deliver next-generation infrastructure services and technology to a diverse range of telecom and utility providers.
With over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Chris has spearheaded innovation in various business leadership roles, including a decade-long tenure at AT&T and its regional predecessors. He joined SAC Wireless in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer, where he played a vital role in transforming the company from a regional niche player into a prominent national leader.
Chris is a career-long expert in facilitating the deployment of innovative telecom networks, from 2G to 5G mobile, fiber, small-cell services, and private LTE networks. He has deep experience working with all major industry players, including AT&T, Verizon, Sprint/T-Mobile, Comcast, Cox, Frontier, Dish, SBA, Crown Castle and regional utilities on projects to build tomorrow’s smart cities.
Before joining SAC Wireless, Chris managed operations, construction, and engineering across a 14-state Midwest region for AT&T, overseeing a team of over six hundred employees. He successfully led the deployment of 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi. He resides in Hendersonville, Tennessee with his wife and family.
