Use this page to find all the resources needed to successfully maintain your Supplier Exhibition booth at the 2024 IWCS Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum.

Capital Convention Contractors (CCC) is the Official Service Contractor for IWCS 2024.
CCC is appointed by IWCS as to perform and provide necessary services and equipment for our tradeshow, as well as providing labor and ensuring local Providence, RI union regulations and requirements are met. Please be sure to review the Exhibitor Service Manual to avoid any unwanted charges or delays.  

As the IWCS exclusive provider, CCC has exclusive for material handling (including inbound and outbound shipments of exhibit/booth materials), exhibit furniture rentals and labor for booth set-up/dismantle. Exhibitors are strongly advised to use CCC for all the above services.

If you have questions or concerns about using the official service contractor, please email Michelle Melsop at mmelsop@iwcs.org with questions. Any exhibitor wishing to use a different contractor than listed above must notify and receive approval by IWCS. Approval is at the discretion of IWCS and CCC.

What is Included in Your Booth:

The standard booth space is 10-foot wide x 8-foot deep. If you purchased a larger booth, your space is 20-foot wide x 8-foot deep. Space does not include carpeting or electric and must be ordered separately through CCC and RICC linked below.

As the official IWCS Service Contractor, Capital Convention Contractors has created an Exhibitor Service Manual with all the policies, procedures and regulations associated with exhibiting at IWCS, and is the one stop source for all your booth furniture and logistic needs. Please be sure to read & review the Exhibitor Service Manual in its entirety to avoid any unwanted charges or delays.

RICC is the exclusive provider of electrical, catering and booth cleaning services and has contracted with Cox as the exclusive provider of internet.

Advertise in the Supplier Exhibition™ Directory / Event Program

Deadline: August 30, 2024

Gain premier exposure for your company and encourage event attendees to visit your Supplier Exhibition Booth by advertising in the Final Program + Supplier Exhibition™ Directory. The Final Program and Supplier Exhibition Directory will be combined as a single program made available to all attendees of the Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum. Submit your complementary exhibit description and optional advertising requests to Wire & Cable Technology International before August 30, 2024. The Supplier Exhibition Directory is coordinated and made possible by our publishing partners at Wire & Cable Technology International.

All IWCS 2024 exhibitors will be listed in the directory free-of-charge, and several advertising promotions are offered for purchase; click here for details. The editorial and advertising deadline is August 30: exhibitors should submit an exhibit description, around 200 words plus contact details, or instructions to repeat or modify their 2023 listing to Mike McNulty at mcnulty@wiretech.com. Frequently Asked Questions

Is There A Host Hotel or Special Rate for IWCS Exhibitors and Attendees?

Yes! The IWCS 2024 host hotel is the Omni Providence, which is connected via an indoor walkway to the Rhode Island Convention Center, where the Forum will take place. IWCS has negotiated a special conference rate at the Omni for our exhibitors and attendees. This group rate is available for hotel stays October 12 – October 18, subject to availability. Please book by September 21 to ensure you receive the group rate. Stays booked after September 21 will be made a the prevailing rates. If calling the hotel directly, be sure to mention that you are part of the IWCS Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum.

How Do I Register My Booth Staff?

Registration will launch in mid-July. The primary contact for each exhibiting company will receive instructions for registering their booth staff. All booth staff must be registered in advance to the event using the unique Exhibitor Registration website. Additional badges will be available for purchase using the  separate General Registration website.

Where Can I Find Shipping Labels For Freight and is there an official transportation provider?

Shipping labels and dates of freight acceptance are included in pages 31–32 of Capital Convention Contractors’ Exhibitor Services Manual. CCC has contracted with ABF Freight, ArcBest, as the Official Transportation Provider. More information can be found on page 35 of the Exhibitor Services Manual. Exhibitors are not required to use the official transportation provider.

Where Do I Find My Freight At The Rhode Island Convention Center?

If your packages include completed IWCS shipping labels from the Exhibitor Services Manual, Capital Convention Contractors (CCC) will deliver your freight directly to your booth location prior to the Exhibitor Set Up Hours. CCC will also provide storage of empty packing materials, and return outbound shipments to the loading dock upon completion of the event. If you have trouble finding your materials, Capital Convention Contractors will be on the show floor to assist.

Can I Set Up My Booth Early?

No. Booth set up opens at 6:00 AM on Tuesday, October 15.

Who is the Official Service Contractor for the IWCS Supplier Exhibition? Can I Use My Own Exhibitor Appointed Contractor for Freight and Labor?

Capital Convention Contractors (CCC) is the Official Service Contractor for IWCS. As the IWCS exclusive provider, CCC has exclusive rights for material handling (including inbound and outbound shipments of exhibit/booth materials), exhibit furniture rentals and labor for booth set-up/dismantle. Exhibitors are strongly advised to use CCC for all the above services.. Any exhibitor wishing to use a different contractor than listed above must notify and receive approval by IWCS. Labor is regulated by the local union and outside labor may not be used. Approval of outside contractors is at the discretion of IWCS and CCC. Please refer to page 26 of the Exhibitor Service Manual for more information.

Do Exhibitors Receive Free Forum Registration?

Yes. Exhibitors receive one (1) complimentary Full-Access pass and three (3) complimentary Supplier Exhibition-only passes for a total of four (4) personnel per each 10’x10′ space reservation. The primary contact for each exhibiting company will receive instructions for registering their booth staff when registration opens in July.

Can I Reserve Private Meeting Space?

If you wish to organize private meetings with customers and suppliers, we encourage you to contact the Rhode Island Convention Center to reserve meeting room(s). The designated coordinator is Megan Kenneally:  MKenneally@pvdricenter.com.

Can I Invite My Customers And Contacts To The Supplier Exhibition?

Yes! IWCS encourages you to invite your customers and contacts to visit you at the Supplier Exhibition. Once you register to be an exhibitor, you will receive an email with a unique promotional code that you can use to invite customers to the exhibition free of charge ($125 value). Additionally, IWCS has created promotional graphics and suggested e-mail content for you to use. Click here to access these files. Included in the promotional files is a PDF that allows you to easily upload your logo and fill in your booth number. Then you can save the PDF as a JPG image file to use on social media, your website, and in emails. If you would like any additional graphics or promotional content, please reach out to Becky Dippel, IWCS Marketing Manager, at rdippel@iwcs.org.

How Do I Sign Up To Conduct A Supplier Spotlight Presentation?

The 2024 Supplier Spotlight Session is now full. If you would like to be added to the wait list, please email Michelle Melsop, IWCS Sr. Operations Manager, at mmelsop@iwcs.org.

Where Does the Supplier Exhibition Take Place?

How Can I Sign Up For A Booth At the 2025 Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum?

Starting at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 15, exhibitors will be able to complete the application to reserve their booth for the 2025 IWCS Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum, taking place Monday, October 27 – Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center located at 1000 Fort Duquesne Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. If you have any questions, please speak with IWCS staff when you arrive in Rhode Island.
