It’s Not too early to start planning your paper for the 2024 IWCS Forum

The 2024 Call for Papers will open later this year. The process for submitting abstracts will be very similar to previous years. Refer to the list of suggested topics below and start preparing your Technical Paper to submit for the IWCS 2024 Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum, taking place in Providence, Rhode Island, USA October 14–17, 2024. Sign up for the IWCS e-newsletter to receive important notifications regarding the 2023 IWCS Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum and the 2024 Call for Papers for next year’s event. Options to Present Papers at the IWCS Forum

IWCS offers two different options for presenting technical research at the IWCS Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum. Poster Presentations are recommended for first-time presenters, students, or individuals who may not be comfortable presenting during the Technical Symposium. Please refer to the following details to compare presentation options for accepted Technical Papers. Please note: Final Technical Papers, written in English, are required for both types of presentations and will be included in the Technical Proceedings and IWCS archives.

Technical Symposium Presentation

  • 20 minute presentation
  • 5 minute question & answer period
  • Formal seated audience
  • Visual display: Microsoft Powerpoint
  • One presenting author per paper
  • Comfortable presenting in English
  • Final Paper in Proceedings and Archives
  • Opportunity to receive prestigious Jack Spergel Memorial Award for Outstanding Technical Paper
  • Opportunity to receive prestigious Kitts-Kingsley Award for Best Presentation

Poster Presentation

  • Casual one-on-one conversations with people who stop learn about your research
  • Poster is on display for two days
